Adventure Title: The Garden of Proserpine Adventure Level: ECL 5 Number of Players: Between three and five Start Season: 1372, Early Spring Start Location: Unther Description: Some days ago, a messenger came bearing an offer of work from one Barama Daas. A former adventurer, now an old man living out living out his last few years in bed, crippled and in pain, a shadow of his former self. He's approached you for help because he's found information that might lead him to something, something he's been looking for for most of his life. Something called the Garden of Proserpine. You may have heard the legends. A beautiful garden, created by a dead god in a time long past. A green grove in the depths of the Abyss, whose fruits can cure any ailment, resurrect the dead, and even grant eternal life. You may not believe that such a far fetched story might be true, but the man's offer of 100 gold pieces on completion of the job, as well as being allowed to keep any loot found in the process, is certainly compelling enough.

Keama Zin will be in on this. I will?
Yes Keama, you will. Hope you guys don't mind me being chaotic evil...

How problematic? I can offer the spot to blossum or one fo the offers if it's a big issue.

In this case I don't think an Evil/Good mix will be too big of a problem considering you're both following a common goal that isn't particularly either. So long as Keama doesn't do anything pointlessly cruel and evil in front of his Good party members, there shouldn't be an issue.

Keama is just a selfish little prick who primarily looks after himself first and formost. He is not chaotic st00p1d. He's come along on this adventure for the money and so he'll behave, leastways because he knows the trouble it'll cause for him if he doesn't, think of him as a smarter, quieter version of Belkar.

You should be okay. I don't think Ava has a way to detect alignment. Don't quote me on that though >.>

Yeah, sorry, I'm just used to most of the Evil with a capital E people on the site being rather... blatant about it. It should be fine. Ava is not a clever woman.

I think Ava might have cast-worst Int? Does anyone have lower than a 9?

Hey. You don't need good int to do a good deed! I think I would like the color e69e19. Also known as gold-ish.

Oh, so I almost forgot. I'm going to be making my best effort to put up a DM post every 24 hours. If anyone doesn't respond in that time I'm going to assume you have nothing to say/do nothing. If less than half of you have responded, I'll wait another 24 hours. This should make the game run a lot faster.

I'm going to see how well I get on with this group, if my character just gets annoying, he'll likely cut and run and someone else can step in, but for the moment, I'll stay with ye.

Ah, I should mention, Keama doesn't wander around in hybrid form. He tried it once, and let's just say, that was one childrens party they will NEVER forget. He is, as far as you can see, just a regular gnome. Most of the other stuff in your post sticks though, so I'd only just take out the bit about the snout!

Oh, and I should mention: everyone (except Saraquiel) gets a 25 gp advance, not just Allamir. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

crazyaido, I'll edit it to(day)morrow. ava, seems I might have mixed up your look too? if i read your first post right. correct me if you do/don't your massive hammer/have a way to hide it and instead look like an unarmed teen right now. Means I have to edit my last post a tiny bit more than just the gnome thing. also, I have something in mind to attempt (key word...) nudging us back to task, but it probably first depends if Ava wants to respond or not. so i'll try to get one up today if she doesn't, or just wait if she does. watch that space.

Oh yeah, sorry. The metal orb thing? That would be the hammer. Part of the Radiant Armaments is that you can compress them into a trinket in the same amount of time it takes to draw it. She can draw it as a free action, something I'm going to demonstrate in... about an hour? I have to go on a walk first, but I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. Sorry, I just woke up.

I'm going to be moving us along to nightfall very soon, likely later today or early tomorrow, so if you guys are still interacting or otherwise don't want me to just say so.
