A question I had that I don't think I saw an answer too, but maybe I saw and forgot it.
A) Can the same character be in two different roleplay threads? (I think this was a stated somewhere else, but I couldn't find it).
And B) Can the same character be in two different roleplays (that aren't happening at the same time out of character. For example, he's in one, that adventurer finishes, and then joins another) that cover the same time period? And if not, does travel time factor into where or what the character can join in on depending upon his past roleplay actions? Specifically, do we have to keep track of the date and time and travel for our characters to get from place to place.

It would depend on the timing and length of the adventures. I would say that it would lead to a mess to be in a campaign and anything more than an extremely short adventure at the same time. worse if you gain gear from the adventure but it dies, and then you suddenly pop that gear into existence in the campaign etc. I would keep it to 1 at a time personally. Just my advice as a player who has played in these sorts of environments before.

I was leaning towards one at a time as well, for that exact reason. However, the second question was the one I was more unsure about.

While I'm still waiting for the question on how time passing with characters limits what adventures they can be apart of or not, a topic on the Shoutbox made me realize a few questions that should probably be ironed out for possible Leadership play in the future, since you guys seem open to such story concepts to be explored.
Specifically, some questions. Can player's use the rules from the stronghold builder's guide to make a stronghold/homes for their followers? And do they have to ensure that their followers have a place to live/call home by purchasing them homes and/or paying their rent?
Secondly, can followers earn gold (for example, via the use of the profession and/or Craft skills) that can be invested into themselves or the community/stronghold? For example, if Gix ever gets a tribe of kobolds that he become the Overseer of, would the kobold's mine be able to produce income that can be used to outfit and improve their home? I imagine there would have to be some sort of limit based on what can be considered 'passed time', the kobolds can only mine and refine so much ore, after all.

To answer the questions, starting at the top:
1) You can have a character in more than one adventure. It is up to you to figure out the timeline. You cannot have a character in two campaigns at once. If an adventure and campaign timeline overlap, the adventure will shift in time to accommodate the campaign.
2) A character cannot be in two adventures that cover the exact same period of time, and travel time is a factor. Please consider this when making adventure requests and joining adventures. Note the answer to number 1 above, though.
3) Yes, you can use the SHBG to build follower homes. If you want to keep your followers, it might be a good idea to help them finance a place to stay.
4) Followers can earn gold, but it must be kept separate from your player account. That gold can be used to improve the stronghold/community. So to answer your question, yes, but the gold cannot be used to upgrade the character's equipment and such, only the community/stronghold.

Alright, the answer to number four was exactly what I was hoping to hear. Means that if Gix ever does get his kobold warren, I get to play around with a budget.

Question, I know characters that are obviously from another realm (i.e, warforged and dragonmarked heirs from Eberron), but is it possible for choice selections from such areas? For example, can a spell be taken from another setting's splat book by someone from Toril? (In particular, I'm thinking of the spell Strength of the True Form, from Dragons of Eberron).

So long as the spell in question is something that could logically exist outside of the given realm, then yes. Going by your example, it is something that would be allowable.

Does the Collector of Stories skill trick apply to the knowledge roll from Knowledge Devotion?

I'd say yes. It makes sense.
