Maybe it's due to a few DMs and Mods being absent. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it was a coincidental scheduling thing. Whatever the reason is, this forum has lost momentum.

And the shoutbox is pretty active:
I'm not calling out Xyn, but his posting habits are a symptom of the problem (being present, but not posting content). Yesterday I posted a similar message to this one in the Shoutbox, but it was buried by "Hi, how are you?" messages by the time I logged back on. If this is going to be an active game then we need active participants. I don't want to see anyone banned or punished, but DMs have to keep the game moving along. Just like at a tabletop, it's their responsibility to ensure smooth gameplay. If this is too much responsibility for one person, perhaps we need to work on a system of co-DMs or delegation of tasks to the party. We're all here to RP, so the idea of meta-gaming shouldn't be a concern. If it becomes one, then address it for the individual(s) that are causing the issue.
This isn't an open letter of grief. This is an introduction to an open discussion. I say again, If you're logged in, please comment here. It can be a quick note, it can be a longer discussion. Suggestions on how to improve posting rates. Or your opinion on what the rate should be (is it acceptable now? or not?). Or even what would need to change for you to post more consistently. Please do not post an excuse as to why you haven't been posting recently. Even if it is legitimate, it doesn't further the discussion here and there's no hard-feelings so no need to explain.
I am going to add a poll of "Why haven't you posted recently, IC?", hopefully that will shed some light on this and we can get back to gaming again.

windstruck: I call rubbish. Anyone can put together at least a few moments if they have the desire to. So the question is, then, have we gotten to the point where it's time to admit we don't have the motivation to continue running the game? 8 hours ago
windstruck: Time to bow out and defer the responsibility to someone more willing? 8 hours ago
Drake Darkstar: yah... even a storyline post would take at most about half an hour to think out and type, i dont see how it is so difficult but maybe its just im not seeing their point of view [...] 8 hours ago
