"I could hit it with my axe repeatedly Luzkul. Split the door. But intact? I am no good I am afraid."

I would rather you didn't just yet. We do not know what is inside.
Thro'qu'ulug replied. He leaned in to examine the lock. No keys had been found, so perhaps there way another way to open the lock. rmR7u1il1d20+1 Search? 1d20+1 Disable Device?

You realise that the keyhole on the lock is fake. With some jiggling about you realise that it must have a magical means of being opened.

Luzkul realises that all the lock needs is any magic to be expended and it will open.

She reaches out and touches the lock, concentrating she releases a burst of magical energy into it, hoping it will unlock the carriage. Expending a 1st level spell slot.

With a soft gentle click the lock opens and the door swings open. Inside is a plush reinforced room with a human female, dressed in an expensive court outfit, a steel key on a chain about her neck.

Thro'qu'ulug leans into the doorway. Well, what do we have here? Who are you? He says, gesturing for her to exit the carriage.

Carefully and clearly terrified she steps from the carriage. A shriek emerges from her mouth as she sees all of the Orcs, the corpses and blood strewn across the battlefield. The Ghouled guards of Tyrelia leering at her from beside the carriage.
"Oh! By the tears of Ilmater!!!" she cries and promptly faints.

He grunts as the 'princess' hits the desert sand. We don't have time for this. Let the men have their fun with her. We can keep her as breeding stock for as long as she survives and then the Necromancer can have her corpse. He reaches down and tears the steel key from her neck, heading over to the locked chest to see if it opens it.

Luzkul kneels down beside the fainted woman and checks her life signs. Realising she is ok, she speaks. "She could be worth money, perhaps someone might pay us for her safe return?"

The key successfully opens the lock. Inside are two bags. One bag contains gemstones worth 500gp, the other contains 500gp of Onyx.

Don't be stupid. He calls out back to Luzkul as he kneels down and tries the key in the lock. Whoever wants her would soon as kill us as pay the ransom. We would never see a cent. She is of more use to us as a toy, for breeding or more use dead even. He harumphs with surprise when it opens and it reveals some worthwhile treasure. Taking the bag of Onyx gems he tosses them over to Tyrelia. You might have some good use for these.

"I suppose you are right. Would just be a waste of time, or even if it pays off continuing to raid would be worth more. What do you think Tyrelia?" she walks over to Thro'qu'ulug and looks at what he is got. "Mind if I claim those gems as part of my share? I could find uses for them at some point."

He throws the bag of gems to Luzkul. Go for it. I would rather have the box.

She nods at the Orc Warlord. "As for these..." she points at the small gathering of magic items they had looted from the Black Cloak and the Captain. "What do you want to do? I doubt the potions would be of any use to you Thro'qu'ulug."

Probably not. You and Tyrelia can divide all of them between you. I will take everything else. Tyrelia can have the corpses of course. If either of you want a weapon or two then help yourself now.

Tyrelia had been concentrating quite a bit, she didnt expect to make so many friends so quickly, but the strange girls was curious enough to comment on "Honestly she seems like those self-obsessed girls that cries if their daddy doesnt buy them a pony or something, i doubt its worth doing anything for her, im not even sure id want to befriend her."
Upon speaking of magic items, Tyrelia pauses from her ritual to quickly go take a look "Wow thanks boss, this dark stone is pretty impressive, -looking back at luzkul- well, if you want the potions, ill take the bag, and you can pick which of the other 2 you want as well." once thats decided she will pretty much skip along towards the rest of the bodies to continue 'befriending' them.
