Thro'qu'ulug strikes the first Dretch, almost slaying it in a single hit. The 9 remaining Orcs crash into the battle only to be met by the waiting guardsmen. 4 Guards attack: XoUB2hIv1d20+1 H 1d8+3 D 1d20+1 H 1d8+3 D 1d20+1 H 1d8+3 D 1d20+1 H 1d8+3 D

One of the melee Guardsmen is now below 0 hp.
Black Cloak falls down to just 5 Con now. 1d20 DC 17 or suffer 1d8 damage
Concentration check to cast lightning bolt, focused so it strikes a guard, then Tyrelia. 1D20+2 DC 15
3 more Orcs go down in the melee, but so does one of the guards. The Black Cloak chants against, electric energy crackling at his fingertips, but the cold and soul draining magics wracking his body distract him and the spell fizzles. He falls to his knees, close to death now. 6 Orc Warriors left. 14 Guards left. Captain is down, Black Cloak is about to die. 1 Dretch is almost dead, the other is ok. 1d20+1·1d8+3·1d20+1·1d8+3·1d20+1·1d8+3·1d20+1·1d8+3·1d20+6·2d4+6·1d20+6·2d4+6·1d20+6·2d4+6·1d20+6·2d4+6·1d20+6·2d4+6·1d20+6·2d4+6·2d4+6·1d20·1d8·1D20+2

Tyrelia sees the mage in pain and tries to finish him off with a flurry of natural attacks. (if memory on natural serves right, bite is 1d6+6 and claws are 1d4+4, 1.5 times Str and 1 times Str resectively, alas i might be wrong, also, adding charnel touch to the bite attack for an additional 1d6+5)
Bite lPK605Kv1d20+6
Damage: 1d6(+6)
Negative Energy Damage 1d6+5
Claw 11d20+6 Damage: 1d4(+4) Claw 21d20+6
Damage: 1d4(+4)
(PS i added the +x at the end when i wasnt sure about the bonus, also not sure if full attack with natural weapons has any penalty, but thats it, nite all)

OOC: Well the mage was on top of a wagon above the melee, but within range. However they are engaged and you can slip through and attack once. The bite easily renders him unconscious. The negative energy damage kills him. Dead.
So that is perfectly fine.

Luzkul looking for an enemy that is still standing sees the Orcs being slowly pushed back and slaughtered by the guards fighting in melee. Screaming her battlecry once more she charges into the nearest two guards swinging her axe at both of them. Charge attack, pounce. Steel wind - striking two guards at once.

The first guard deflects Luzkuls swing, sending sparks flying from his shield as he narrowly escaped death. Her axe swings up over into the second guard, busy fighting another of the Orcs and is instantly killed. Tyrelia attacks the mage, dragging him down to the roof of the carriage and destroying him utterly, devouring his essence as she does so. Morale check: Jv1zD9ne1d20-3 DC 15 or be shaken rest of battle.
Failed.
The guards sense they are in trouble, but will not run, both due to the dangers of the desert, and because they still outnumber their enemy. The ranged guards draw their longswords and attack now as well. 2 guards attack Tyrelia on top of the Carriage.

Thro'qu'ulug brings down the Guard in front of him, who only had his sword out and no shield. Easily slaying the Guard (he wont stabilize before he drops to -10). The two remaining Orcs make a morale check (using Thro'qu'ulug's will): mpm_I59g1d20+1 DC 15 or shaken for remainder of battle.
Holy shit, a natural 20. Going to give them a bonus to morale checks, saves and attack rolls for a round now.

OOC: Crap. Just keep swinging I guess. She shifts herself into a solid stance, refusing to move from her position and taking on all of the remaining guards in front of her along with the two last valiant Orc Warriors. Focusing on the Strength of her weapon she attacks the only Guard without a shield beside her. kLisYg6b1d20+7 hit 1d20+7 crit confirm 3d6+9 damage (forgot favoured enemy - humans last few attacks!)

Tired. Hot. Their leaders dead. Their numbers slowly falling, the remaining guards start and back away or flee. The five guards on the ground grab a horse each (cutting them free of the wagons and carriage), whoever survives the combat with Tyrelia and Thro'qu'ulug jumps on with them as they pass and the group vanishes off into the distance, back into the Dale Lands, toward Zhentil Keep.
Combat is over!!!
Out of the Orc Warriors only 3 actually died as well. The rest are unconscious.
So 12 left, 2 standing, unharmed.
4 wagons to be explored. 1 locked carriage. 10-(5+x) draft horses remain.

You take both of them down. I think Tyrelia could easily take down 1 in her round and probably badly wound if not kill the other as he flees.
So call that only 5 of the 19 guards escaped!
I will place up the loot table in the ooc thread.

Thro'qu'ulug stands over the corpses of the warriors he slayed, looking over as Luzkul tends to the wounded and Tyrelia finishes having fun with the last of the guards. He strolls around, looking through the wagons at the assorted goods, then eventually coming back to the carriage.
"This carriage had a spellcaster and guards protecting it, it is reinforced and locked from the outside. Something of value must be in there. Anyone able to deal with the lock?"

After the battle Tyrelia heals herself to full with charnel touch, then proceeds to sit near one of the strongest looking soldiers and wait for her new friend to wake up. (Basically, she raises one of the soldiers, with 4 or less HD, as a ghoul, like in the template I will link here tomorrow morning, dont worry ill make a sheet) Here is the sheet for the Ghouls, (also as noted in OOC, i realized i can raise 4 at a time so ill raise 4 every hour until ive risen 16 (my max daily) or i run out of bodies) Also, here is the homebrew thread

OOC: All of the guards were 3HD - 1 of them have been reduced by a level. But you can easily pick a 3HD guard.
Level 3 Warrior.
STR: 15 DEX: 12 CON: 13 INT: 10 WIS: 10 CHA: 8
He can keep his longsword, scale armor and shield then if you like.
