Personality: Charming and genial, Allamir is an aspiring leader. His goal is to lend aid to worthy
causes, garner allies and, eventually, establish House Lyrandar as a political force in this new land.
Appearance: Tall for his race, Allamir has dark hair, with amber eyes and unusually pale skin hinting
at his heritage.
History: The dragons of Eberron are a reclusive race, remaining aloof from the world as they watch
the Draconic Prophesy play out. However, at times one of the dragonkin requires a mortal agent in the world,
eyes and ears in the realm such as the dragon himself cannot have. These moments occasionally give rise to
one of the dragon-descended, who may freely travel between the mortal realm and continent of the dragons.
These half-dragons are revered by some and reviled by others, but forever must live beneath the scrutiny of
the other dragons, lest they be destroyed as an abomination against dragonkind.
Allamir was born to Khoravar parents in the city of Stormhome. He was raised among the nobility, and grew to
be well-liked among his peers, groomed for advancement within his House. Indeed, the House merely awaited
the day Allamir manifested a Dragonmark, that they might laud him and rain honors upon him. However,
Allamir's mother had a secret, one so deep and old that even she knew it not; Allamir could not manifest the
mark of his house, for he was not fully Khoravar. Generations past, Allamir's line had mingled with that of
a silver dragon, and was forever barred from the Mark of Storm. Or so they thought.
The House of Vol is but a whisper of a legend in all but the darkest places; even some dragons question its
legitimacy. However, it could not be mistaken, on that day of days Allamir manifested the Mark of the Storm.
All about him was celebration, as he was now ready to step onto the path to power within the House. Allamir
was troubled, though. The Mark upon his skin burned, and he felt suddenly wary, as though a thousand eyes
were now upon him, even when he was alone. It was that night a dream came to him, the visage of an ancient
silver dragon appearing in his mind, leaving him but one instruction: flee. Allamir knew not from what he
was running, but he did as he was told; not even a note of explanation and he was away in the night. A storm
raged that night, the fury of the wind and rain masking his flight, but in the distance he thought he heard
a roar that was more than simply thunder. He left the city and traveled toward the cliff-faces, hoping he
might find shelter among the rocks and caves. As he reached them, however, he was greeted once more by the
mighty features of a dragon, the same silver face that had appeared in his dreams. The creature opened its
maw without word, releasing a blast of arcane energy that engulfed Allamir sending him reeling backward into
darkness.
When Allamir awoke, he was no longer upon the clifftops of Stormhome. He was, in fact, nowhere he had ever
been before. Rising to his feet, he brushed himself off and glanced around. He was in a clearing, he
ascertained, not too far from what appeared to be a road. Making his way to the path, he noticed a walled
city in the distance. With nowhere else to go, he set off along the highway toward Suzail.
