Adventure Title: Dalibrandy Toast and Tea
Adventure Level: ~5 Very easy, short and simple
Number of Players: 2-3 [[Non-evil characters only. Characters who do not mind the company of Halflings and a bit of partying and fun]]
Start Season: Ches 17 1372DR
Start Location: Trading town of Perigaland, just north east (about half a day) of Esmeltaran on the edge of lake Esmel.
Description:
Perigaland is a very small trading town on the edge of Lake Esmel in the Kingdom of Amn. It's population is majority halfling, with the dominant trade guild run by the Dalibrandy family. Of the rest of the population Gnomes and Dwarves also feature largely with humans making the remainder. Two large temples dominate the landscape - Gond and Sune, with the Halfling Gods all sharing a space attached to the merchant guild hall. Trade ship come and go on the small docks, and caravans from the north and east pass through and often use Perigaland as a stop or even as a final destination for trade. Small farms dot the landscape outside of the simple wooden palisade walls.
It is on the date of Ches 19 1372DR that the Dalibrandy family intend to hold the Spring Equinox festival for the entire township.
However they have put out a call to local adventurers who might help them with a selection of troubles first.
Notes:
This is going to be a small very cliche and short adventure just to get something rolling along. I want to keep it short enough so that characters can participate in both this, and the grand campaign at the same time. It will cover only a few days - though players may extend it upon request if they wish - and will be featured around fulfilling a few small contracts with the local merchant guild to take care of problems they would rather not send their troops to deal with.
Expect a little intrigue, but not much, some hack and slash, but not against anything overwhelming. Could be used to lead into an ocean adventure or the PCs could simple hitch with a caravan to anywhere in the western lands to join in with other adventures or the campaign.
A party of 5-6 level 3 and below characters could pull these off, or 2-3 level 4-5 characters easily.
I may also run periodic similar short adventures in the township for new characters.
Very short adventures
